NEWS The Yorkshire Three Peaks (Pen-Y-Ghent, Wherneside and Ingleborough) challenge will be on Saturday 22nd May. there will be an overnight camp in Horton in Ribblesdale with a BBQ and beers for your efforts. Last years best time was 9 hours and 8 minutes by Kate T. and Katie N. and EVERY Commando Fit'er made it in time for beers and burgers.Free Trial For All, at any sessions. Here at Commando Fit we are not simply wanting you to get healthier, fitter, lose weight, improve your muscular tone and firm up, be in better condition, have fun and be happier. That’s the easy bit. We are also wanting you to challenge yourself and even surpass your expectations. To ensure you do this we are constantly looking to line up key physical and social events around the area and this beautiful part of the world we call ‘Yorkshire’. The events are all within easy travelling distance, so there is no need to go down London or up to Newcastle to run with 1000’s of other runners and ‘wee’ on the motorway embankments or roads and be impeded by all the walkers. AND you don’t have to find your own way back to the start line by carrying bus fare with you. Did you not know the finish line is miles away from the car-parks in the GNR? So please find below some good LOCAL Yorkshire events (and other suitably challenging events) and challenge yourself to even better fitness and health goals. Any advice or support we give you will be free and there is no shortage of expertise amongst the instructors. We will get you fit in time for your next fitness goal and together we will achieve it.
